Fall is here to stay, and my favorite part about it is bold but season appropriate makeup! This time, I’m sharing my ultimate fall lip combo using none other than Kylie Cosmetics OG Metal Matte lipsticks in the shades Reign and King K. Kylie has released two newer Metal Matte lippies in the shades Dancer and Kymajesty. Kymajesty has been discontinued, but had a lot of negative feedback due to its lack of pigment. There were also a lot of complaints from customers saying that their lipsticks came poorly packaged or even halfway empty. Dancer was released with the Christmas collection and remains on the site.
Kylies Metal Matte lipsticks will run you $18.00 plus tax. This is a great price point for her demographic. Compared to similar lines like Beauty Bakerie where a single Lip Whip, as they call their liquid lipsticks, will run you $20.00 Kylies price fits right in!
These Beautiful lipsticks are super opaque and dry down to a semi matte finish. Both have amazing pigment, and do not settle into those pesky fine lines you may have in your lips.
The cons are small, but need to be mentioned. The lipsticks are advertised as a Metal Matte…which simply is inaccurate at best. These don’t dry down to a completely matte finish which doesn’t bother me, but I know it is something a prospective buyer would like to know. My only other con is the fact its Kylie Jenner. I know a lot of people refuse to support the Jenner/Kardashian family and that is perfectly fine. I’ve also stated before that I will not be purchasing from her again as I feel like she doesn’t really listen to her fan base and customers and that’s just not a person I want to give my hard earned money to.
These liquid lipsticks together create the perfect bold, but Autumn appropriate, ombre` lip!

You guys will never understand how excited I am for the spring season! I can’t wait to see the flowers bloom and the warm days ahead! I created this fresh faced spring look with the inspiration of flowers I saw at the grocery store the other day! So let’s jump in shall we?
I primed my under eye area with the Hard Candy primer stick, and the redo of my face with the Maybelline Baby Skin primer. This paired together gives me a smooth foundation for my makeup! I then used the Hard Candy turn Me Bronze illuminating drops all over for a “glow from within” look. My foundation of choice has been this Color Perfect foundation from Black Radiance.
Set. Contour. Highlight
I then used the LA Girl pro concealer in Toffee to highlight, and set it with my Airspun powder. I set my whole face with the L’Oréal face powder in CoCoa. To contour and highlight I’ve been loving this contour pallet from Black Radiance as well!
For me the main focal point of this look is the brushy cheeks, so me being extra I used 3! First I used colourpops blush in Thames, then a random blush I got out of an ipsy bag, and last this Bare Minerals blush in Glee.
For eyes I kept it simple. Set with an it of face powder and lined with KVD Tattoo Liner and a few coats of Tartes Tarteist lash paint.
For lips I started with this Colorpop gloss in Queen B, the center I used Kylie Cosmetics Candy K and for a little added drama I used their metallic lipstick in King K in the center.
To set I used this Hard Candy setting spray.
I’m literally in LOVE with how it turned out. So fresh and spring like!
What are your thoughts? Are you excited for spring? Let me know!
As always thank you for reading!

Morphe is a super well-known brand that literally needs no introduction. Great products with a super affordable price point! As a whole I love Morphe! Their brushes are amazing quality and won’t break your pockets!
Today we are looking at their 350m pallet. The infamous 350 palette consists of matte and shimmer shadows, while the 350m palette is all matte shades! I am such a matte shadow girl so of course I was drawn right in! The shades in the pallet are all pretty neutral. It consists of warm and cool tones shades so it can appeal to everyone.
I created this burgundy smokey eye solely using the 350m pallet. You can check out the tutorial Here.
I’m going to give you my pros and cons and overall thoughts on this pallet.
- All matte shadows
- Affordable – coming in at $22.99 for 35 pans you can’t beat it!
- All neutral shadows
- Great pigment
- Sturdy packaging
- Some shadows are chalky, and not WOC friendly.
- Difficult to blend, the lighter shades basically sheer out when blended while the darker shades hardly budge. I suggest using very little product and building it up to get the color payoff you want
- Contains Talc, research shows that Talc is directly linked to breakouts and allergic reactions related to makeup. It also causes ovarian and lung tumors over time.
Over all this is a nice pallet. If I could have tested it in the store would I have purchased? Sadly no. The shades are way too chalky for my skin tone. And shades that aren’t chalky take a lot of work to blend out. Would I recommend? Sure. It’s a great beginner pallet to play and practice with.
Do you have the 350 m pallet? What are your thoughts?
Thank you for stopping by!
