Meal Ideas For Valentines Day

As Valentine’s Day slowly approaches I think it’s safe to say you need to plan ahead whatever you’re going to eat on this day! So I’ve come up with a short list of ideas!

Going Out To Eat?

If you’re planning to go to a sit down restaurant to eat here are a few things to remember:

  1. Make Reservations at least a week in advance, Going out is so popular around holidays like this so it’s important to have where you’re going booked in advance
  2. Dress up. It’s not too often you dress up to eat out, but Valentine’s day gives you an excuse to pull out something a bit more fancy! Break in those new shoes and that new eyeshadow pallet!

Dining In?

Dining in gives you the option to be in the comfort of your own home with your loved one! Some popular options for dinner include making your significant others favorite meal, ordering takeout, or purchasing meal in a bag! Meal in a bag is basically an already proportioned meal that you simply have to warm through on the stove or in the oven. For a date night a while ago I purchased Shrimp Scampi meal in a bag and my Fiance literally thought I had made it from scratch! It was so good!

Dinner Theater

My final option is going to a dinner theater! These types of places aren’t a popular as they used to be, but they are still for sure one of my favorites! They give you the option to eat and watch an amazing show. Again I’d recommend making reservations as the seats typically fill fast for special events, but it will be well worth it!
