Fall is here to stay, and my favorite part about it is bold but season appropriate makeup! This time, I’m sharing my ultimate fall lip combo using none other than Kylie Cosmetics OG Metal Matte lipsticks in the shades Reign and King K. Kylie has released two newer Metal Matte lippies in the shades Dancer and Kymajesty. Kymajesty has been discontinued, but had a lot of negative feedback due to its lack of pigment. There were also a lot of complaints from customers saying that their lipsticks came poorly packaged or even halfway empty. Dancer was released with the Christmas collection and remains on the site.
Kylies Metal Matte lipsticks will run you $18.00 plus tax. This is a great price point for her demographic. Compared to similar lines like Beauty Bakerie where a single Lip Whip, as they call their liquid lipsticks, will run you $20.00 Kylies price fits right in!
These Beautiful lipsticks are super opaque and dry down to a semi matte finish. Both have amazing pigment, and do not settle into those pesky fine lines you may have in your lips.
The cons are small, but need to be mentioned. The lipsticks are advertised as a Metal Matte…which simply is inaccurate at best. These don’t dry down to a completely matte finish which doesn’t bother me, but I know it is something a prospective buyer would like to know. My only other con is the fact its Kylie Jenner. I know a lot of people refuse to support the Jenner/Kardashian family and that is perfectly fine. I’ve also stated before that I will not be purchasing from her again as I feel like she doesn’t really listen to her fan base and customers and that’s just not a person I want to give my hard earned money to.
These liquid lipsticks together create the perfect bold, but Autumn appropriate, ombre` lip!

Welcome back to my corner of the internet! Today I’m reviewing the eye and lip pencil by Jay Manuel Beauty! I got this product as a free sample from an app called Plum. I haven’t used it until more recently when I created a makeup look, where I used the pencil smudged along my lashline!
As I got this product free, I’t was for sure in the correct price point haha! But seriously, this pencil retails at $20.00 on the Jay Manuel website. The pricing is more of a high end product so I suppose the price point is pretty good.
I haven’t come across a black eyeliner PENCIL this pigmented! It definitely took me by surprise when I swatched it. Using this pencil on your waterline for a smokey look would be perfect!
As you can see here I used the pencil on my upper and lower lashline and smudged it out using a small smudger brush from Morphe.
The product blended perfectly, and was super dark and perfect as a base for darker shadows.
Overall Thoughts? Would I Purchase?
Overall I LOVE this eyeliner! I don’t grab for pencil eyeliners often as i’m addicted to gel and liquid liners, but this pencil has for sure changed that! Its very creamy and easy to blend and doesn’t run in the waterline. This is the perfect pencil eyeliner!
Have you tried the Jay Manuel cosmetics line? Your thoughts on this liner?
Till next time,
I’ve been playing around with the A20 Liquid Eyeshadows for well over a month now. I picked up the two shades Wave and Thermo for a dollar a piece at Shop Miss A. Shop Miss A is a super affordable website where everything is $1.00! They have a more “professional” line called A20 where the items are a little more than a dollar but still very affordable.
The packaging seems very cheap but super sturdy! The tubes feel very lightweight and almost empty. The lettering on the tubes will wipe off with much use, but almost all plastic tubing without a label will.
I wasn’t wowed by the pigment of this product. When I think Liquid eyeshadow, I think of a base so shadows are more pigmented. These did not give me that effect. Thermo was super patchy and hard to build. Wave was slightly better, more opaque and easier to build up for the perfect base.
These shadows never really dry down and will transfer if not set with a similar eyeshadow. I always thought maybe i hadn’t warn the shadows long enough for them to dry down, but after wearing a swatch of Wave for over 8 hours it was clear they weren’t made to be worn alone.
Overall Thoughts? Will I Repurchase?
I don’t believe these shadows are something I’d be purchasing again. I love liquid shadows for a base for my least pigmented shimmers, but these wouldn’t do any better than them. For the price this is a “You get what you pay for” type of product. I’m not a fan of the way the shadows don’t dry down either. I’d give this product a 2/5 rating.
